Homeland Security/EMA Host Terrorism Exercise in Georgia

COLUMBUS, Ga. -- The Russell County (Ga.) Office of Homeland Security/Emergency Management Agency will be hosting a statewide terrorism exercise the week of March 10, 2008 in the area near Garrett/Harrison Stadium in Phenix City.

Agencies participating include Phenix City Fire/Rescue; the Phenix City Police Department; CARE Ambulance; the Russell County Sheriff's Office; Russell County EMA; Lee County Sheriff's Office; Alabama Department of Public Health; Lee County EMA; Columbus EMA; Columbus Fire; West Central Health District 7 (MMRS); the Russell County Red Cross; The Salvation Army; Alabama National Guard Civil Support Team; The Medical Center; Jack Hughston Memorial Hospital; Regional Rehabilitation Hospital; and the Alabama State Defense Force.
