Air Force Special Operations Airmen, such as combat controllers and pararescue personnel, receive critical casualty evacuation training and battlefield emergency medical techniques at Air Force Special Operations Command, Hurlburt Field, Florida. The Tactical Operations Medical Skills (TOMS) training uses simulators and allows hands-on training of realistic injuries during simulated combat conditions.
