Southwestern Approved to Offer New Paramedic Associate Degree Program

COOS BAY, Ore. -- Soon students wishing to complete a paramedic studies associate degree at Southwestern Oregon Community College will get the chance to do so.

A little over a week ago, the Oregon State Board of Education voted to approve the new paramedic associate degree program, largely in part due to local and statewide industry needs.

But the program wouldn't have become a reality without a key partnership from Bay Cities Ambulance.
