The need to document pulse oximetry levels is already an EMS standard of care, and the newPulseOx 6000 fromSPO Medical has several features that make it ideal for field use. The compact size is well suited for checking a patientÌs SPO, and the use of reflective pulse oximetry means you donÌt have to change the battery all the time or worry about any nail polish or artificial nails your patient may be wearing. AutoSpot technology built into the PulseOx 6000 also removes artifact associated with motion and low-perfusion states.
