Individually Wrapped Hand Sanitizer Wipes

Call me what you will: germaphobe, germ-freak, paranoid, the list goes on. The bottom line is, I like clean hands. We all know that in EMS you’re exposed to all kinds of germs. The problem is that you often find yourself in situations where you’ve touched equipment, door handles or other thingscovered in germs with nowhere to wash your hands properly. Sani-Hands ALC Instant Hand Sanitizing Wipes from PDI are individually wrapped wipes you can always have on hand. They can be carried easily in your pocket and each wipe is clinically proven to kill 99.99% of germs. These wipes contain vitamin E and aloe so they won’t dry out your skin. They’re also U.S. Food and Drug Administration Food Code compliant, meaning they’re safe to use before eating or drinking. VITALS

Easy-Access Tourniquet Case

Based on the design of the Kydex C-A-T Tourniquet case, the RIGID TQ Case for the C-A-T Tourniquet from Eleven 10 is made with new features that make it durable and user-friendly. This injection-molded nylon case is strong and has many different mounting options for your belt or on a MOLLE-compatible vest. Once in the case, the C-A-T Tourniquet is held in place by friction without belts or straps. This allows the user to grab the exposed part of the tourniquet to quickly and easily deploy it with one hand. The RIGID TQ Case can be mounted vertically or horizontally, and is currently available with the Blade-Tech TekLok belt attachment system or a Tactical Tailor Malice Clip for MOLLE attachment. VITALS

Circumferential Pelvic Stabilization

A patient with a pelvic fracture is significantly at risk of major blood loss—in some cases blood loss can reach up to 2 liters. Delayed or improper treatment of a pelvic fracture increases the patient’s risk of death. The unique design of the T-POD Pelvic Stabilization Device from Pyng Medical incorporates a mechanical advantage pulley system that ensures simultaneous, symmetrical and circumferential compression of the pelvis. The pulley system and pull tabs make it easy to stabilize a pelvis in seconds. The T-POD, when applied, reduces the pelvic fracture, controls hemorrhage and lessens pain. T-POD is 100% radiolucent, X-ray, CT scan and MRI compatible. It fits most patients, and can also be trimmed if necessary, or two T-PODs can be secured together for obese patients. T-POD is latex-free, flexible and non-metallic. Unless the device is soiled, it can be left in place for 24 hours. VITALS

Tourniquet for Pediatric Patients

M2 has been producing state-of-the-art tourniquets for many years. Its latest version of the Ratcheting Medical Tourniquet is designed for a different patient population then their previous military, adult and rescue/MCI versions. Let’s remember, kids suffer major traumatic injuries too, and theyh have softer tissue, muscle, and bone than adults. The Ratcheting Medical Tourniquet (RMT) Pediatric from m2 is designed specifically for the pediatric patient. The RMT Pediatric has all the feature of its adult RMT counterparts. It’s self-locking, requires only gross motor skills to operate, and has a ratcheting sound when activated. The difference is that it’s constructed using softer, more flexible material, allowing for precise mechanical pressure and adequate hemorrhage control with less risk of tissue damage in the pediatric patient. The integrated hoist system is rated to 10,000 lbs., requires no assembly and includes a helicopter hoist strap. Another feature is the 4000 pound-rated cross straps with side release buckles to secure your patient. The rapid deployment bag can be worn on your back with two shoulder straps. Versatile Rescue Boat

Rescue boats must be safe, versatile, and able to get in and out of tough situations. The Connector Boat from Rescue ONE takes those requirements to a higher level. It’s perfect for flood rescue, dive and recovery, surface recovery, firefighting, swift water rescue and many other rescue situations. The boat is constructed from 5052 marine aluminum and features an extra-wide bottom and 15-degree sides that minimize side-to-side rocking. Hundreds of cubic inches of foam make this boat extra buoyant even in swamped situations. It’s virtually unsinkable. The non-skid floor adds to the safety of the boat. This boat draws only a few inches of water, which allows it to function well in varying depths and it’s able to respond to locations other boats can’t. Perhaps the most unique feature of these boats is that they can be easily connected together to form an evacuation bridge or a large floating platform for surface recovery and drag operations. Available accessories include a dive/rescue platform, fire pump, command console, light bar mount, K-9 walkways and bimini top. VITALS
