This kit was developed in response to current fiscal conditions and their effect upon departments, some of whom are struggling with the expense of equipping officers to deal with major trauma including gunshot wound. The POPTK was designed with input from key safety officers from various departments, and the initial response has been outstanding for this product.
The Patrol Officer’s Pocket Trauma Kit is truly pocket sized, but can save lives. It measures only 4” x 4” x 1¾”, yet it can be used to control major bleeding, wound packing, form a pressure dressing or improvise an occlusive dressing (chest seal). It includes a SWAT-T Tourniquet, a Z-Pack Dressing, six feet of Duct Tape and a pair of quality nitrile gloves and retails for under $16, with discounts available for bulk purchases.
