Orlando, Florida – (May 6, 2013) – Allied Specialty Vehicles (ASV), a leading $1 billion sales producer of specialty vehicles to the Fire & Emergency, Commercial & Industrial and Recreational Vehicles markets worldwide, today announced that it has purchased ambulance manufacturer SJC Industries from Thor Industries in an asset transaction.  SJC Industries manufacturs a full line of ambulances distributed under the McCoy-Miller and Marque brands.
