Five-car Accident Sends Three Patients to Hospital

Five-Car Crash
Crews from the Detroit Fire Department and Universal Ambulance work with the Detroit Police Department at the scene of a five-car crash at a busy intersection. One woman had to be extricated from her vehicle after it sustained heavy driver-side impact damage. Firefighters from Squad 3 and Engine 46 worked for 20 minutes using jaws and cutters to free the woman from her vehicle. The patient sustained multiple traumatic injuries. A total of two people were transported to area hospitals.
