With faculty development by Saratoga County EMS Coordinator Mike McEvoy, PhD, RN, CCRN, REMT-P, and EMS Educator and Author, Richard Beebe, this is a great conference.

The exceptional opening keynote at this conference by Jamie Syrett, MD, "Trapped Driver Resuscitation: Lessons from a NASCAR CC Physician" will be offered at the JEMS EMS Today Conference & Exposition, Feb. 6–8, 2014, (www.EMSTODAY.com) in Washington, D.C., and is a "must see" lecture.

Dr Syrett's information is real, valuable and transferable/applicable to civilian EMS.

Dr. Syrett, a skilled ED physician from upstate N.Y. and a NASCAR physician at the famous and challenging Watkins Glen Speedway, is not only seasoned and educational, but also passionate about EMS and full of energy.

As an added bonus, Dr. Syrett is from Scotland and has a great affect, sense of humor and accent!

Dr. Robert Sheridan, a burn care specialist from Boston's famous Shriner's Burn Hospital did a great review of burn management at the Pulse Check conference and showed how use of TPA on circulatory-impaired burns opens up the vessels to ensure circulation that helps profuse and heal the affected area.
