OXON HILL, Md. (AP) — Rescue officials say three harness race drivers have been hurt in an incident during a race at Rosecroft Raceway in Oxon Hill.
Prince George's County fire and EMS spokesman Mark Brady said it happened about 8 p.m. Tuesday night during a race. He said three were injured; none of the injuries was considered to be life-threatening.
Brady said two of the drivers were being flown by a state police medevac helicopter, which landed in the infield, to a trauma center; the third was being transported by ground.
It was not known if any horses were injured.
