OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Seven people, including five children, have been injured in a fire that destroyed a mobile home in southeast Oklahoma City.
Fire officials say the family's dog awoke them when a blaze erupted about 2:30 a.m. Tuesday in a trailer at the Arrowwood Mobile Home Community.
Witnesses say Jesse Garza was badly burned when he rescued his three children and two nieces. His pregnant wife, Priscilla, was able to get out of the mobile home, but she also was burned.
The adults' medical conditions weren't immediately released.
Officials say the children suffered smoke inhalation but were treated at an Oklahoma City hospital and released.
