GAINESVILLE, N.Y. - State police say seven people are recovering from injuries suffered when three vehicles collided on a western New York road.
Troopers say the accident occurred early Sunday afternoon at an intersection in the rural town of Gainesville, in Wyoming County 40 miles southeast of Buffalo.
Police say a 52-year-old woman failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection and her vehicle was struck by two others. Troopers say the woman and her 31-year-old daughter were taken to a Buffalo hospital, along with a 62-year-old man driving one of the other vehicles.
Police say the other four people injured in the crash were taken to a local hospital.
Troopers say none of the injuries are considered life-threatening.
Police say charges are pending against the 52-year-old woman.
