Numerous Passengers Hospitalized in Boston Bus Crash

The crash involved an MBTA bus and a minivan

BOSTON - Authorities say a crash involving an MBTA bus and a minivan in Boston has injured 14 people.

Police spokesman Officer James Kenneally says the crash was reported in the city's Dorchester section at 6:20 p.m. Saturday.

MBTA spokeswoman Lydia Rivera says the collision injured 10 people on the bus and four in the minivan. Rivera says their injuries aren't life-threatening.

Transit Police Sgt. Detective Kenneth Sprague tells The Boston Globe that according to a preliminary investigation, the minivan ran a stop sign.
