MONROE, NC - WBTV is reporting that an EMT has been killed after his ambulance was involved in a crash out front of a hospital.
Officials with Sandhills Ambulance Service confirmed to WBTV that an EMT died after the ambulance she was in collided with a tractor trailer out front of Carolinas Medical Center- Union on U.S. 74 in Monroe, Tuesday morning.
No patients were reported to be on board in the ambulance which was en route to the hospital to pick up a patient.
