PLAINFIELD, N.J. — A Plainfield couple whose son was fatally shot can sue the rescue squad they say took too long to get him to the hospital, the state Supreme Court ruled unanimously Tuesday.
Geraldine and Odis E. Murray watched in horror on Aug. 4, 2004, as emergency-medical technicians performed cardio-pulmonary resuscitation on their 25-year-old son, Odis P. Murray, who was shot by his younger brother outside their Parkside Road home, according to court documents.
