RIVER EDGE, N.J. - Justo Bautista of The Record reports that a New Jeresy EMT has been found dead on the driveway of an ambulance station by fellow members returning from a earlier call.
Matthew Pellettere, 37, of the River Edge Volunteer Ambulance Corps was found unresponsive by other members when they had returned from a call Pellettere had responded to on Sunday morning. Members immediately began CPR.
The cause of death is not known and local police are investigating the incident.
Pellettere, a teacher's aide and father of two children, was a probationary member of the ambulance corps and had served one year.
