LAKE PLACID, Fla. - A flood of water crushed a building and killed two workers after a 300,000 gallon water tank ruptured.

The tank, located at a former Georgia Pacific plant on State Road 70 in Lake Placid, burst, sending a flood of water through an nearby building.

Two workers were inside that building completing repairs on a pump designed to fill the tank.

The resulting rush of water caused the building to collapse, trapping the victims inside.

The names of the victims are being withheld pending positive identification and notification of next of kin.
