TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) - A chemical explosion at the DuPont plant in the Town of Tonawanda, has left one person dead.
An outside contractor has died, and another has been injured with burns.
The chemical is contained, and poses no threat to the community.
Town of Tonawanda Police say, residents are safe to go outside.
According to police, there are no evacuations that they know of.
Numerous authorities, including OSHA and the DEC, are on the scene.
