Feltonville (MyFoxPhilly) - Eleven people were injured Tuesday after a lunch truck exploded in the city's Feltonville section, and the blast was captured on surveillance video.

SkyFOX was live over the scene of West Wyoming Avenue and North 3rd Street moments after the explosion rocked the area around 5:30 p.m.

Two victims are currently in critical condition. A mother and daughter are the most seriously injured. Investigators say they were inside the truck at the time of the explosion.

Surveillance video caught the dramatic explosion from a food truck parked on the 300 block of West Wyoming Avenue.

Watch as a huge ball of fire erupts, shoots straight into the air, and spreads across the street.

"I heard a boom first and then the fire just came out of nowhere,” said Latoya Page.

Page,24, is one of the victims. She is lucky to be released from the hospital just hours after the explosion, but with first degree burns, she says.

"I was walking by and the truck just blew up. And I saw the fire and the fire just hit me,” she said.

Investigators say it appears the explosion on the lunch truck was caused by one of two propane tanks on the back of the truck.

"The explosion caused the propane tank to travel about 150 feet across Wyoming Avenue and it landed in a backyard of 4th and Wyoming, part of the lunch truck also traveled about 150 feet," said Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small.

Neighbors describe hearing the explosion that rocked the area.

"I heard an explosion I seen smoke and people running and yelling,” said Jose Diaz.

"A telephone pole across the street from it was completely in flames, people were burned on their front porches. It was a pretty horrific scene,” said Michael Backie.
