LAS CRUCES, N.M. (AP) - Funeral services are scheduled Saturday for a Las Cruces paramedic who died in a helicopter crash last week.
John Sutter was killed along with fellow paramedic Anthony Archuleta of El Paso, Texas, and pilot William Montgomery of Avondale, Ariz. Their Southwest Med Evac helicopter crashed during a training flight Feb. 5 at the McGregor Range.
Sutter's funeral will include a police procession to the First Assembly of God Church in Las Cruces.
Investigators are still trying to determine what caused the crash. The weather was clear and no patients were aboard when the helicopter went down.
