Let Your Voice Be Heard

The EMS Manager

David S. Becker | | Wednesday, June 27, 2007

I would like to encourage managers and leaders of the EMS community to get involved in either a local, regional, state or national level organization and help shape the future of EMS. It takes people being involved to help develop and mature the degree and delivery of emergency medical services.

Also, everyone needs to keep informed on the coming trends and new aspects of EMS. 2007 will begin a new chapter, as the educational standards continue to be developed, and that process encourages feedback and input from all levels of providers. Let your voice be heard.

As EMS is a dynamic field and not bound by hundreds of years of tradition, it is important to continue to make progress and keep expanding the profession, based on the commitment and dedication of current and future EMS providers.
