A task force charged with studying whether the Duluth Fire Department should take over ambulance services released its recommendations Monday night, but recommended only that the issue needs to be studied further.
The five-person group was formed in November and met several times. It became apparent that while the task force was comprised of subject matter experts, the scope and complexity of such a project exceeded the capacity of these volunteers, the task force wrote in its executive summary.
