Many EMTs and paramedics carry a knife or multi-tool with them while on duty. The original was the Leatherman. The Skeletool is Leatherman's latest model that features a stainless-steel blade, a handle, pliers and a wire cutter that can save you a trip to the toolbox when you need a small hand tool immediately. The Skeletool also includes two sizes of standard and Philips screwdrivers. The pliers can be used to turn an oxygen cylinder on and off, which may prevent a stack of lost oxygen wrenches from accumulating next to your mismatched socks.
