Streamlight Scorpion

Fran Hildwine, BS, NREMT-P, CCEMT-P | | Thursday, September 25, 2008

Hopefully, you carry more lighting capability on you than just a $1 disposable pen light. The Streamlight Scorpion, already a great light, has now been upgraded with C4 LED technology. The C4 LED provides 120 lumens, more than enough to light a room. The 3.5-hour run time (to 10% output) should last several weeks with the intermittent use most EMS calls require. The Scorpion is still packed with features, including a rubberized hand grip, a tailcap switch and an anti-roll head, as well as colored lens and a nylon holster.

Length: 5.72"

Weight: 5.3 oz. (with batteries)

Cost: $79.95
