PRIMACARE Multi Trauma Dressing

Hands On: Product Reviews from Street Crews

Fran Hildwine | | Friday, August 3, 2007

PRIMACARE Medical Supplies has introduced a sterile Multi Trauma Dressing thatÌs longer than it is wide and offers greater absorbency, protection and padding to the site than most trauma dressings, which makes it highly functional and adaptable in the field. Folded and rolled in a small, convenient package thatÌs clear on one side, this dressing features a soft, non-woven, moisture-resistant cover sheet and highly absorbent filling that quickly wicks away fluid and prevents exudates from pooling. The size makes it easier to store in your kits than traditional square trauma dressings and perfect to apply to wounds of the head, torso or extremities. Its size and shape also allow you to stop heavy bleeding, treat lacerations, protect and pad major wounds and burn areas, or pad and support piercing injuries.
