LaCrosse Responder Side-Zip Station Boot

Fran Hildwine, BS, NREMT-P, CCEMT-P | | Wednesday, May 14, 2008

EMTs and paramedics assigned to engine and truck companies need footwear that's comfortable to wear in the station and easy to remove when donning turnout gear. The new Responder Side-Zip Station Boot from LaCrosse fits both of these needs quite well. The smooth side zipper and pull tab make them easy to put on and take off. A polyurethane midsole offers support, and an EVA footbed provides additional arch support. The Responder is available with a plain toe or a non-metallic toe that meets or exceeds ASTM/ANSI specifications for full protection, and special Quad Comfort technology reduces foot fatigue.

Sizes: Men's 7 MediumÒ14 Wide

Height: 8"

Weight: 3.8 lbs.

Cost: $143.95 ($133.95 plain toe)
