KEY BISCAYNE, Fla. - Authorities in South Florida say they rescued a three-year-old girl after her arm got lodged in a pool pipe.

Capt. Pete Gomez of the Miami Fire Rescue says firefighters cut through the pool's wall to dislodge the pipe that girl's arm got stuck in on Monday morning. The girl was transported to a hospital with her arm still in the pipe.

Gomez says that when firefighters transported her to the hospital was in good condition.

Gomez said the girl and her mother were swimming when the incident occurred.
