Optional one-day preconference workshops are also being offered that will feature a hands-on bio-skills cadaver lab, special patient populations lecture, swift water rescue awareness certification, and a visit to the World Trade Center site.

Conference lecturers and skill instructors will include experienced FDNY members, joined by physicians, medical specialists, educators and leadership from some of the top Urban Search and Rescue teams in the United States.
