DARTMOUTH, NEW BEDFORD, MA, ISSUED FEBRUARY 20, 2012…Stat-Southcoast EMS, a Dartmouth, MA provider of emergency and non-emergency medical transportation announces the recent promotion of Debra Norcross of Dartmouth to Paramedic Supervisor of its New Bedford base.

In this capacity, Norcross oversees all EMT and Paramedic activities at the New Bedford satellite location of Stat –Southcoast EMS.  Prior to filling this new role, Norcross served as a paramedic with Stat-Southcoast EMS; she holds the distinction of being the first female paramedic with Stat-Southcoast.

Norcross, a graduate of Cape and Islands EMS, has 25 years of experience in the EMS/Paramedic industry; in addition to her post with Stat, she is a paramedic at Seekonk Speedway.

She is certified in CPR and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and has received numerous certificates of excellence throughout her career.

Norcross lives in her hometown of Dartmouth with her husband Walter.  In her spare time she enjoys walking, reading, tending to her pets and activities with family.
