Safe-T-Vent® Nebulizer Released for International Distribution

Airon | | Friday, September 23, 2011

Airon Corporation is pleased to announce the release of the Safe-T-Vent Nebulizer for international distribution. In keeping with the tradition of “Quality Patient Care” Airon is introducing a new product for medication delivery with safety and continuum of care in mind. The Safe-T-Vent Nebulizer provides safe aerosol medication delivery during positive pressure ventilation. Using a special spring shut-off in the Tee piece, the nebulizer can be removed while safely maintaining CPAP pressure or ventilation.

“The true value of the Safe-T-Vent Nebulizer is during patient transport” said Eric Gjerde, President & CEO of Airon. “Especially in the EMS environment, nebulizers are often used to provide critical medication delivery while using CPAP devices or ventilators. Nebulizers may
become disconnected during patient movement or need refilling.

It is very important that the CPAP or ventilation pressure not be lost when the nebulizer is removed. That’s where the superiority of the Safe-T-Vent Nebulizer shines.” The Safe-T-Vent Nebulizer is available for purchase through Airon’s domestic and international distribution partners or directly from Airon Corporation.
