Chantilly, VA – First Line Technology, LLC, a small-business supplier of “Out of the Box Solutions” for first responders and military, has been certified to ISO 9001:2008 standard. The globally recognized ISO 9001:2008 certification requires a rigorous independent audit of the organization’s processes and people. First Line received this designation to confirm that the organization’s solutions meet international standards for quality policies and objectives.

ISO 9001 is an internationally recognized standard, assisting organizations in improving both customer satisfaction and staff motivation. ISO 9001:2008 is implemented by over a million organizations in 176 countries (ISO)1.

“We strive to ensure the utmost customer satisfaction by supplying our customers with the highest quality products,” said First Line Technology President Amit Kapoor. “For years, we have used ISO 9001 methodology, so transferring to certification was the next logical – and easy – step to ensure that all of our product lines, which we manufacture and distribute, were made to the highest quality specifications possible.”

First Line was certified by BSI Group America, Inc., a leading certification body for ISO standards.  BSI is a trusted partner to Industry and Government with a focus to support their business objectives through the transfer of knowledge of best practices, assurance services to identify and measure performance indicators, training services to aid the building of organizational competency and enable continuous improvement, and the tools to monitor, enhance and report on compliance against the customer’s management system objectives.

“By earning ISO 9001 certification, First Line Technology has reinforced its commitment to quality and best practices, thereby raising their organization’s performance.” said Todd VanderVen, president of BSI Group America Inc. “First Line’s employees have demonstrated a commendable focus on optimizing quality processes, and ISO 9001 certification only underscores the company’s best-in-class effort to drive business performance.”
