Ambulance Driver Follows Drunk Driver to McDonalds

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Police have arrested a Hampden man on suspicion of drunken driving after an ambulance driver allegedly observed him driving erratically and attempt to order food from a closed McDonald's restaurant.

At 2:00 a.m. Monday, police received a call from an Ambulance Driver who was observing a truck driving wildly, according to Springfield Police Department Sgt. John Delaney.

The driver, from American Medical Response, reported that there was a man in a white pick up truck driving all over the road and curbing, police said.
