Shots Fired at Kentucky Paramedics

GREENUP, Ky. - Police are investigating a shooting incident in the eastern Kentucky city of Greenup.



A spokeswoman for the Greenup County Volunteer Fire Department said three emergency medical service employees were walking into the fire department building when three shots were fired in their direction.



The Independent in Ashland reported spokeswoman Karen Belt said one of the bullets passed between two paramedics and struck the building. No one was hurt.



The incident occurred during a shift change at 8:30 Monday morning.
