Ventilators used in hospitals are feature packed, computer controlled and large. Transport ventilators have always been a compromise between features, size and weight. The newCrossvent 4+fromBio-Med Devicespacks a lot of features into a compact unit designed for transport. Touch screen controls make adjustments intuitive and precise. A variety of ventilatory modes are available, including Assist Control, SIMV, CPAP and Pressure Support. Batterylife: 6 hours

Cost: $9,250 (with air entrainment)
