Ventilators used in hospitals are feature packed, computer controlled and large. Transport ventilators have always been a compromise between features, size and weight. The newCrossvent 4+fromBio-Med Devicespacks a lot of features into a compact unit designed for transport. Touch screen controls make adjustments intuitive and precise. A variety of ventilatory modes are available, including Assist Control, SIMV, CPAP and Pressure Support. The Crossvent 4+ is available in three configurations: standard, air/oxygen blender and air entrainment. The attached oxygen blender allows you to set the oxygen concentration from 21Ò100%. And the air entrainment option allows you to deliver 50% or 100% oxygen without the need for an external air source.
