EMS Research Grant  2010–2011

Please read these instructions carefully. Applications that do not follow these instructions with regard to type size, length, format and supporting documentation will be summarily rejected. If the grant application deadline has not passed, the application may be resubmitted after deficiencies are addressed. No extension of the deadline will be granted to allow resubmission in this cycle.

GENERAL INFORMATION

INTRODUCTION
The Journal of Emergency Medical Services (JEMS), with the cooperation of the Prehospital Care Research Forum (PCRF), is awarding a research grant to encourage a prehospital care provider or agency to participate in a research project.

ELIGIBILITY
An application for a JEMS EMS Research Grant may be made by either an individual or agency wishing to do a research project. An individual must be a member in good standing of an emergency medical services system (EMS or Fire/EMS agency, teaching facility, EMS research agency) to be considered for the grant. A letter of endorsement from an involved agency, or from an organization endorsing an individual, must accompany the application. The project must be completed and be available for presentation within 18 months of the grant award date. Proposed research projects cannot have any other grant funding.

The nomination period is now closed.
